Release and delivery status reference
What every SpaceMedia release and delivery status means, and the exact next action for each one.
Look up the status shown on your release and do what the last column says. Most statuses do not need a support ticket.
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Draft or not distributed | The record exists but submission is not finished. | Finish tracks, Licences, preview, and distribution. |
| Changes Needed | Review returned it with specific fields flagged. | Fix those fields, recheck related ones, resubmit. See Validation and review. |
| Submitted or in review | SpaceMedia quality control has it. | Wait. Resubmitting puts you back in the queue. |
| Approved or ready | Review passed. Delivery can proceed. | Nothing. Approved is not live. |
| Delivered or processing | The store has your data and is working on it. | Wait for the store. No one can speed this up. |
| Live | The store has published it. | Confirm on the store, in your own territory. |
| On hold | Something needs resolving before delivery continues. | Read the notice on the release. |
| Cancelled, removed, or banned | Distribution is stopped or restricted. | Read the notice. Contact support only if the reason or next step is unclear. |
The distinction that matters
Approved, Delivered, and Live are three different things, controlled by two different parties. SpaceMedia controls review and delivery. The store controls publication. A release sitting at Delivered is not stuck; it is waiting on the store.
Distribution and dates explains the timing and how to plan a release date around it.
Before contacting support about a status
Have the release title, the UPC, the status shown, the destination, the territory you checked, and the date. Without those the status cannot be traced to a delivery.
