Enterprise release library
Search, inspect, edit, take down, and redeliver releases across your SpaceMedia organization catalog.
Catalog > Releases is every release in your organization, whoever created it. It requires view releases.
Finding a release
Search by title, artist, or identifier, and filter by state. UPC is the most reliable search key when a customer reports a problem, because titles repeat across artists and spellings vary.
Inspecting
The release view shows metadata, tracks, artwork, rights, destinations, delivery state, and history. Use it before answering any customer question about a release, so you are answering from the record rather than from what the customer remembers.
Editing
What is editable depends on release state. Delivered releases are locked in the places where a silent change would put your catalog out of step with the stores, since stores already hold that metadata.
A change to a delivered release means a controlled update and redelivery, applied by each store on its own schedule.
Takedowns and redelivery
Takedown stops distribution. It propagates store by store rather than instantly, and it does not erase reported earnings for the period the release was live.
Redelivery resends corrected data. Use it after a metadata correction, not as a way to hurry a store that is still processing. Redelivering an in-flight release generally makes things slower, not faster.
Audit
Catalog actions are recorded. When a customer disputes a change, check Activity log before responding.
