Every Brand Settings section
What each SpaceMedia Brand Settings section controls, in the order to configure them, and what is locked before the trial.
Settings > Brand Settings is everything customer-facing. Configure it in this order, because later sections depend on earlier ones.
| Section | Controls | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| General Settings | Brand name, logo, currency, default label, registration toggles | Editable from day one |
| Languages | Which interface languages your customers get | Editable from day one |
| Payment Options | Gateways and what you sell | Needs the trial started |
| Domain Setup | Your own domain | DNS, start early |
| Email Setup | Sender identity and authentication | DNS, start early |
| Support Settings | The contacts customers see | Required before launch |
| SSO sections | Identity provider and consumer configuration | Only if you connect an external login |
| Terms of Services | Your terms | Required before registration |
| Privacy Policy | Your privacy policy | Required before registration |
Locked before the trial
Until a card is authorized to start the 30-day free trial, these are read-only: Payment Options, Domain Setup, Email Setup, Support Settings, all three SSO sections, Terms of Services, and Privacy Policy. Release submission is blocked for the same reason.
General Settings and Languages stay editable, so branding can be prepared first. See Enterprise onboarding.
The two that take longest
Domain and Email both wait on DNS propagation you do not control. Begin them on day one regardless of where they sit in this list. See Branding, domains, and email.
