Users directory and customer account administration
Find and administer the customer accounts on your SpaceMedia platform, and keep them separate from staff members.
Users is your customers: the artists and labels who distribute through your platform. It requires view users.
Users are not members

Never give a customer a staff role to work around a support problem. A staff role grants organization-wide access that has nothing to do with their own catalog.
Day-to-day use
Look a customer up before answering any support request, so you are working from their actual account state rather than their description of it. Check what they can see, what plan they are on, and what state their releases are in.
Search by email first. Display names change and repeat; the account email does not.
Administering an account
What you can do depends on your permissions. Anything that affects a customer's access or catalog is visible to them, so tell them before you do it rather than after.
Account actions are recorded in Activity log. Check it before responding to a dispute about who changed what.
Handling a compromised customer account
Act on it the same way you would want yours handled: verify identity through the account email, restore access, and review what changed while access was lost. Account access is the guidance your customers get.
