Enterprise DDEX Gateway

Settings > DDEX Gateway is where an organization admin creates and manages API credentials. It requires the Enterprise API feature.

What it is for

Two audiences use this area:

• API integrators, who need organization credentials to build against the Delivery API.
• Standards-native partners, who exchange DDEX ERN messages rather than using REST.

Both start here, because both need scoped credentials created by an administrator.

Credentials

Creating and rotating credentials is always an explicit administrator action. Copy the secret when it is shown; it is displayed once.

Grant the narrowest capability set the integration needs. New credentials default to read-only catalog access, and installing the Enterprise Delivery API add-on does not silently widen an existing client's permissions.

Staging first

Staging activation and API testing are free, and the environment is production-compatible. Build and rehearse there before requesting anything in production.

Live DDEX connection activation is gated on review, conformance evidence, and licensing. It is not a self-service switch, and simulated conformance in staging never activates a live connection.
